Portmeirion is a folly tourist village in Gwynedd, North Wales. It lies on the estuary of the River Dwyryd in the community of Penrhyndeudraeth, 2 miles from Porthmadog and 1 mile from Minffordd railway station.

Bottle from The Ship Shop in Portmeirion. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, hints of coffee. Taste: Roasted malt, dark chocolate, hints of coffee. Floral hop backbone. Malty, smooth and a little creamy mouthfeel. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Medium body, below average carbonation. Ok British Stout.

Bottle. Color: Clear ruby, beige head. Aroma: Malty, caramel. Taste: Malty, caramel, floral hoppy backbone. Light hints of citrus fruit. Moderate to over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body, below average carbonation. Dry bittery finish. Ok.

Possibly another Portmeirion special brew only available in the village. Okay dark brown body, modest head. Aroma of roasted barley and some coffee. Flavour is sharp roasted barley with a slightly watery finish. Very boring soft stout, seems to be a common thing in these isles.
