Half pint, cask by hand pump at Brewery Tap Leeds. Diminishing, tan-coloured head. Near-clear, rosewood coloured body. Moderate, semi-sweet smell of caramel and bread. Roasted dark malty taste, notes of coffee offset by leafy hops towards a malt-fruity ending. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. 30.06.2013.

Cask, half at Brewery Tap in Leeds. Cloudy amber body, good, white, lacing head. Resin-like hops to the nose. Taste of resinous hops and mild caramel. Mild bitter endnote. Floury palate. Accepted. (Leeds 30.06.2013).

Cask, half pint at The Brewery Tap in Leeds. Hazy, dark golden body. White, filmy-layer. Malt-fruity aroma and flavours, leafy hops and caramel malts. Bittersweet tail. A bit mealy in the mouth. Medium bodied and smooth. Satisfying British pale ale. 30.06.2013.

Cask (handpump) @ Snickleway Inn, 47 Goodramgate, York, North Yorkshire, England YO1 7LS.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130122]

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity malt, citrus notes. Cask-conditioned at the North Yorkshire beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 10/12/2012. Deep amber with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, floral hops and a touch of caramel. Flavour had some sweet, biscuity malts, more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the North Yorkshire beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 13/12/2012. Golden with a slight white head. Light aroma of citrus fruits, hay and grassy hops. Flavour had some cereal malts, a touch more fruit and ended pleasantly bitter. Fine.

From cask at Guildford Arms. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light fruity. Bitter, toasted malty and light grassy. Herbal, hoppy and light citrusy. Bitter and dry herbal finish.
