Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours hazy gold with a very large foamy white head that persisted. Mango wafts from the pour. Med body or more. It's mango juicy, but more towards dry than towards sweet. Moderately bitter. Mango and citrus. Not just a fruit drink.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear, dark, amber/ruddy/brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma is rather Tmavy with a wheat aspect. Med plus body. Flavor is smooth darkish malt - back to Tmavy here, with some chocolate and wheat. Not excessively sweet. A light touch of prune. Bitter. Can't pin down the hop tho. Could be Saaz. Very good flavor.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours brassy gold with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is Saaz spice with some bready support. Med body at least. Flavor is spicy, earthy and perhaps a bit of citrus. Enough bready support, but not at all too much. Tastily bitter. A little less bread and it might rival Urquell.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours copper - more clear than hazy. Creamy white head. Papaya in the aroma. Med plus body. Flavor has papaya and mango, and some citrus comes in third. Juicy but well towards dry. Very tropical. More than moderately bitter. Maybe even some hop burn. Good flavor.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a moderate, creamy white head. Aroma of stone fruit, citrus and roasty malt. Med body or better. Flavor is dry and bitter. There's pale stone fruit, citrus, enough malt to notice and a bunch of mixed tropicals - melon - passion fruit (sharp bits) - mixed berry. There's more, but I can't encompass the massive melange. Super stuff!

Can from Corti Bros. Pours slightly hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is juicy - maybe citrusy. Med body. It is juicy and somewhat dry. Moderate orange citrus. Some pale malt support. Moderately bitter. Very tasty for a blonde ale. Seems to have wheat in the finish.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear, bright gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is a mix of near dank and armpit. Med body. A little undry. It's earthy and spicy. Dank lurks in the next county. Bitter. A bit astringent. Dang but it's good beer!

Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours clean, clear bright gold with tiny bubbles and a fizzy white head. Mixed pale berry and passion fruit for aroma. Might be white grape, might be gooseberry, might be both. Med plus body. Flavor is pale malt base, with arguably gooseberry, but pretty certain there's a passion fruit tang, and maybe some Noble spice. Certainly not Belgian yeast spice. Very dry. Bitter, but not harshly so. Heat is present, but hardly impacts on flavor. Very good stuff. Definitely not sessionable tho.

Waxed 500 from Corti Bros. Pours very dark brown with a transient, slight beige head. Mixed aroma - mostly coffee - but some chocolate and maybe cherry. Full bodied. Lots of malt. Lots of coffee too. I can find maple and cherry - vanilla not for me. In a way it's like chewing on a wild herbal weed, xpt that this is coffee and cherry. It's a new and intriguing flavor combo. It does not immediately correspond to the brewery description. After the sugar passed by it gets kind of dryish. Earthy chocolate/coffee, yet not really mocha. Quite different. I'm enjoying it.
