Keg at Drygate. It pours hazy deep brown with a small, bubbly khaki head. The aroma is sappy, bitter - sweet, big hit of coffee, nutty, toasted wood, cacao nibs, toffee and toasted brown sugar. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, freshly brewed coffee, light tannin and toasted brown sugar with a dry, toasty coffee finish. Average body and fine carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth, but drinks well.

Keg at Drygate. It pours lightly hazy golden - yellow with a medium, fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty grain, spent grain, nuttiness, mellow coffee grounds, milk sugar, touch of creaminess and wood. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, slightly milky/creamy, light fruitness akin to apricot/peach, nutty, woody, tapioca and a mellow coffee character which lingers throughout with a dry, toasty finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Not sure how well this works tbh. Coffee should probably be a bit more punchy.

Keg at Drygate. It pours clearish straw yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, lemon sherbets, bright citrus, lemon curd, custard creams, bready malt and a touch of spent grain (could the brewery smell). The taste is crispy, firm, quite clean, fresh, some raw hops, airy malts, touch green, fresh pine, lemony citrus and custard creams with a drying finish. Light body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Fresh, hoppy and chuggable. Nice one.

330ml bottle from Drygate brewery shop - Deepest brown to near black body, no head. Nose is quite spicy, lots of dried fruit and caramel there. Taste is a little booze forward and feels heavier than the 7.5%. Overall quite good.
