Tap at Cap Hop. Pours amber/brown with a near white head. Aroma is fairly roasty malt with some maple aspects. Med plus body. Not very dry, but not really sweet. Moderately roasty malt. Maybe toasty. Not really bitter, but there’s something of that in the malt. Maple is not overdone. Might be a hint of yeast/spice. Not something super duper, but pretty interesting with a nice taste.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours gold with a creamish white head. Aroma could be peach/mango. Caramel is present. Med body. Flavor is light citrus/pine and peach/mango. Pretty dry. Mild hop burn on the back tongue edges. Bitter enough to make me happy. Good!

Tap at Flaming Grill in West Sacramento, CA. Pours bright, brassy gold with a white head. Fruity aroma I can’t place. Medium body. Flavor is lightly caramel with something suggesting pine, but there’s a fruit aspect - maybe green melon. Reasonably dry; very hoppy;nicely bitter. Very tasty. Excellent overall.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours coppery/amber in a bright way with a near-white head. Aroma of slightly roasty malt with a bit of citrus. Med body. Flavor matches the aroma, but there’s a tang like rye. It’s pretty dry; nicely bitter. Clean. Very good stuff. The finish really suggests some rye to me.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours dark copper with a near white head. Aroma of citrus/pine over a good amount of roasty malt. Reasonably dry. Decently bitter, but with a lot of malt flavor. Seems citrus, hop wise. Finish seems a bit earthy.

Can from Corti Bros. at 9.6% and 100 IBU. Pours translucent coppery gold with a beige head. Aroma is juicy pale stone fruits. Approaching full bodied. Flavor burns a bit. Heat? Hop? Both? Flavor's a bit toffee, but the hops are really bitter. Could be dank. Mostly pale stone fruit for me. Something like a hoppy barley wine.

Tap at Father Paddy's in Woodland, CA. Pours gold with a near white head. Aroma of pale stone fruit. Med body. Flavor is more tropical than stone and there seems to be some citrus and maybe earthiness. Reasonably dry and nicely bitter. Good stuff indeed.
