Pour is a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is whiskey and booze. Flavor is again a heavy alcohol a bit of burnt caramel and finishes with a heavy dose of spirits. Heavy, thick and boozy.

Tap at Foxtown. Steady beige head on top of a deep brown black body. Bourbon forward, pretty much the main flavor. Sweet, full bodied, unique.

12 ounce can shared by Cari & Doug at the February 2023 PS tasting, 2/11/23. Clear orangered, thin tan head, average retention. Aroma of toffee, earth, phenols. Taste is cherry, stone fruit, raisin, toffee. Crisp.

Tap at Foxtown. Leaves the style behind a little, kind of an oddball beer. Really dry and well attenuated, but the phantasm is a little awkward, undesirable. Unique, but not that great an example of the style.

12oz can. I would guess I rated this one somewhere in the backlog on tap before. Pretty standard 6pack level hazy. Right next door to diesel Citra and other juicy hops. Floury sweet body. Not that good for the style, not desirable at all to me.

Tap at Foxtown. Black brown body. Rum comes through pretty big at first, fading into deeper whiskey notes. Really a lot of barrel depth. Cheek warming booze notes. Layers of malt depth too, though a little faded and dominated by the barrel. Cool stuff.

Tap at Foxtown. Big, rich, malty. The brandy barrel accentuates those tones quite well, adding a little bit of boozy warmth too. Definitely an English feel, sweet amber chocolate toffee malt tones. Really good.
