Sample at the August PS tasting, 8/17/24. Near black, thin white head, average retention. Aroma of peanut butter, roast. Taste is roast, peanut butter, tart cherry, pepper. Thin, infected.

Tap at Rustic Road. Sort of true to style, but buttery, antiquated, amateur flavors after a few sips kind of ruins it. Caramel. Not a lot else. Not impressive at all.

Tap at Rustic Road. Medium bodied. Faint noble hop tone. Easy drinking, enjoyable enough.

Tap at Rustic Road. Sweet, amateur aroma. Buttery, sweet. Overall not that well done at all, misses the mark. Amateur hour.

12oz can. Rich malt tone. Rustic, old school, not quite a definitive example of the style. Earthy caramel meets some mildly zest noble hops. Drinks a little bigger than the 5.25% ABV would suggest. OK. Certainly not watery, has a lot of character.

Tap at Rustic Road. An OK enough beer, but more of a brewpub version than a true example. A little more of a chocolate roast tone than typical. OK.

Tap at Rustic Road. Pleasant, easy drinking beer. Mellow carbonation, delicate mouthfeel. A little lacking in the hop department, but very sessionable.

Nitro? Tap at RR. Rich, oily, old school Stout. Odd toffee caramel thick malts. Like your buddies kind of off Stout from the 90s,.this isn't so impressive. Different, but not much finesse.

11.2% on tap at Rustic Road. Seriously hefty stuff. A slow sipper for sure, hefty sweet malt tone. Toffee, alcohol soaked. A beast of a Wee Heavy.
