tap at the brewpub in Oct 2017, sold as Matthiessen English Mild (4.1% abv), don't know for sure if this is the same beer - Pours an auburn color with a small head. It smells of toasted caramel malt. It has a sweet, toasted malt flavor with toffee. Lively palate. Easy drinking.

tap at the brewpub in Oct 2017 - Hazy orange pour. Aroma is of yeast, clove, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with caramel and some mild banana and spice. It's light, lively on the palate, and pretty good.
