16oz can. Thick beige head over a deep brown black body. Pretty enjoyable for what it is. Full bodied, but the alcohol isn't overbearing. Sweet sugary vanilla, chocolate, mild coconut. Not wild about the aroma but other that decent enough.

Mine had vile Smore flavoring. Sickly sweet, almost a grape undertone which isn't so radical for the style. Kind of good in an odd way...I'd put away a few six packs of this in the Caribbean.

Quite a nice Scottish Ale. Lots of malt depth. Rich caramel. Fruity Ale yeast. Really nice beer.

Tap at the brewery. A flashback to when US lager was not on point. Bready ,grainy. Misses it. Poor lagering. Glad I didn't get a full poor

Tap at Sew Hop'd. Pretty solid example of the style. Rich malts, a lot of flavor for the ABV. OK.

Last of the 4-pack from Skeleton Key. Milk chocolate and cherry on the nose from the get go. Pours kind of fizzy, with dwindling tan foam over a deep brown-to-black body. From the glass, I can smell more of the sour cherry than before, but from farther away, I catch the impression of chocolate cake. Tart cherry really makes this a break from the usual sweet pastry stouts, although there still some sugar to stick on my lips with this beer. Cherry and chocolate at bedtime, what more could one want?
