Bottle at home. Very dark brown to black color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, caramel, a hint of prunes. Flavor is similar imo: solid malty base, caramel notes, prunes lightly, raisins, soft distant chocolate notes and perhaps some dark malts. Well, I'm pleasantly surprised! This is a very very decent quad! Not a bad word about this one, deserves more attention and a broader audience!

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Amber brown color with an average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, dark candy sugars, burnt sugars, pretty nicely bitter, lightly sticky. Quite nice. Solid beer.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van mout rozijnen en een hint drop. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet met tonen van rozijnen en rood fruit.
