Keg at the brewery, 9/30/23. New brewery! Brewery # 2249, USA # 1849, Wisconsin # 213. Huh. I just noticed I have exactly 200 non-US breweries. Whatever, I love this country and while I love visiting other countries, there's so many cool places here to visit. Canada at least I'll see you soon. Black, thin tan head, average retention. Aroma of roast, vanilla, cocoa, chocolate. Taste is roast, coffee, chocolate, cherry, maple.

Tap at Copper Turtle. I get some serious buttery notes in the aroma, not enticing. Has some of the flavor points, but sort of flabby for the style, not crisp and bright. Buttery oxidized hop tone seriously detracts I suppose. Drinkable, but disappointing.

Tap at Copper Turtle. Big canned peach aroma. Unfiltered orange body, big frothy head. Rather solid for a peach beer, great body, cool nuances.. well made, flavorful stuff.

Tap at The Copper Turtle. Transparent, clean copper body. Glass lacing white head. Great pour, great glassware. Doughy, deep malt, lager tone. Bready, full bodied for the style. Solid.

Tap at Copper Turtle. Charred marshmallow garnish on top. Balanced big stout, just what I was hoping for. Retains a nice malty feel unlike most of it's peers these days. Nice roasty bitterness. Adjuncts are faint and thin, at least after eating the charred marshmallow. Solid beer

Tap at Copper Turtle. Nice deep amber body, filtered or yeast well dropped out. A deep, rich, well made Amber...something sort of lacking in most beer markets. A pretty awesome house beer, pretty commendable for 2023. Deep, rich, malty, right next door to Brown Ale. Right on!

Tap at Copper Turtle. Transparent, filtered looking body..certainly not a smoothie. Pretty straightforward kettle sour. Vanilla and tangerine flavor is pleasant enough. Sunkist orange. Nice carbonation, tall serving glass.
