A totally murky and light yellow beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has grapefruit, some herbs, fructose and pine. Taste has grapefruit, pine, light bitterness. Medium bodied. Well, nice beer.

On tap at BrewDog - Kungsholmen, pours an opaque muddy orange, no head. Aroma has a strange mix of rosemary, the sea berries, and lacto. Flavour has plenty of smoked notes, saltiness, rosemary, and a bit of the sea buckthorn. Finished dry, salty, and smoky. This works surprisingly well.

pitch dark, smooth light brown to brown head.
aroma of roasted malts, chocolate like notes, lots of various boozy and woody notes from the barrel aging, quite complex, charred wood, faint vanilla. quite complex strong imp stout aroma with notes driven by malts and barrels, not all sorts of stuff added to the beer.
flavor is roasted malts, woddy boozy notes that actually add a bit of quad like dark dried fruitiness to the flavor, strog roasted malty and hoppy ending that intensifies into the far aftertaste. That part is excellent. All in all a pretty solid BA imp stout with a tiny tiny bit of quad like fruitiness, which you may like or dislike.

Old rating from 23-11-15 - A 330ml bottle brought from Kris Wines in North London. Pours a jet black colour with a small beige head. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee & a hint of red fruits. Tastes of malt, roasted chestnut, red fruits, liquorice & dark chocolate. There is a touch of bitterness in the finish. Overall I can appreciate the quality, but I didn't love it.
