Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 09/08/2026.
Almost clear golden topped with a white cap that thins to a swirl in time.
Nose is pale malts, faint solvent, stewed fruit, corn.
Taste comprises tangy fruits, cereals, grains, herb.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so affair.

11/7/2026. Bottle at the ITFC England WCQF beer share. Courtesy of DanF, cheers! Sweet, malty and grainy. Touch of metallic bitterness. It’s okay.

Yet another Uzbek beer. Crisp and malty but finishes a little sour.

Bottle at Grand Fergana Hotel, Fergana. Watery ending to this rather harmless macro lager that was sunk three times in a sitting - so largely inoffensive but far from enjoyable.

Bottle at The Grand Fergana Hotel, Fergana. Pretty nasty macro stuff here. Bottle is a rip off of Corona but Corona can mostly be drunk without offense. High levels of metal on palate.

330ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is toffee, marmalade, tea. Taste is medium sweet, toasted malt, toffee. Light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Couldn’t call it a Belgian ale. More of a bitter.
