(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with notes of caramel, accompanied by fruity, grassy and slightly resiny accents, including hints of citrus, pineapples and tangerines. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a medium carbonation. Slim cara-malty base with fresh hoppy accents, initially mainly fruity, later grassy and resiny towards the finish. Slim but likeable. 06.III.18

Fläschchen: Deep golden to orangey coloured, cloudy, almost gushing, nevertheless quickly collapsing loose off-white head; yeasty-phenolic nose, wheat and bananas also detectable; moderate sweet-sourish flavour with a very slight bitterness, nearly medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering sweet-wheaty and mildly phenolic finish. Quite well drinkable, but too phenolic IMHO...

Bottle: Golden, hazy, small head, floaties visible; mild, slightly "rural" and worty nose with molecular traces of hayish hops and a certain fruityness; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and a bit tart; lingering and even drier bitter-fruity finish. Not that bad, but unfortunately not very aromatic....

Fläschchen: Golden, hazy, visible carbonation, smaller creamy and stable white head; spicy peppery hoppy nose, pale-malty background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, very soft, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering peppery-hoppy and malty finish. Well crafted Pilsner from the East-german badlands...
