Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear black with a burgundy hue and a dissipating beige head. Roast and some dark chocolate in the nose. Medium body, lowish carbonation, sweet roast and sweet licorice with very little bittering hops. Too strong and too sweet to be a London Porter, but it drinks pretty alright. 130820

LaBieratorium Schwarze Pumpe, Fläschchen von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Schwarzbraun, undurchsichtig. (10.7.2020.)

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark black, nice head. Starts fine malty, roasty, mild sweetness. Some interesting earthy-spicy notes. Well balanced finish. Nice one!

From the bottle. Brown with a tall, foamy head. Aroma is licorice with a hint of birthday cake. Taste is mildly sweet with lingering notes of chocolate, caramel and coffee. Body is to the lighter side of medium, a touch oily but also watery at times. Decent enough but fails to make a big impression.
