Draft at Bangkok Public Beer Festival, March '20. Fairly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of herbal hops, green weeds and grass with yeasty notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On draft at Fat Cow in Nangkok. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Fllavors are bitter citrus. quite tasty.

Tap at Let the Girl Kill, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a short-lived frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, light grainy, light tropical fruit, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth, fresh toffee malt, dry woody, light resin, alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied soft carbonation.

Tap at YOLO, Bangkok. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is light roasty malt, light citrus fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fresh, crisp, fruity, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice but a little too bitter and not enough fruit.

Tap at Craft Intersect 2, Bangkok. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus fruit, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light soft, watery, malt, light fruit, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Tap at Let the Girl Kill, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is wheat, buttery yeast, floral hop. The flavour is light sweet with a crisp, acid, tropical fruit, crushed banana, smooth toffee caramel buttery, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I didn’t expect much from this as I have not had many great wheat ales in his part of the world but hats off to the guys at BeerKaab for brewing an amazing wheat beer. Possibly the best I’ve had.

Tap at YOLO, Bangkok. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is melon, banana. The flavour is acid citrus, mineral grainy malt, crushed banana with loads of light fresh cucumber, water melon in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. In the greater scheme of things, this isn’t a great beer, but it really hits the mark on a hot day in Thailand. It has much more going for it than many other melon beers I’ve had too.

33cl bottle shared with Jmgreenuk at the Fat Cow. Thick creamy white head. Hazy amber pour. Nice bitterness.
