Gravity pour half-pint at ’The 8 Sail Brewery’ on 24th May 2014. Dark amber brew with an off-white head. Malts lead the way in the brew, fruity and semi-sweet: 4.2% ABV, so a different/tweaked beer to the one others have rated even if the names the same. Tasty, but lacked body depth and interest, came across slightly bland.

On cask at Mallard Brewery Tap, Worksop - Lighter amber body, thin white head. Nose is sweet and creamy, almost vanilla ice-cream. Bit creamy smooth mouthful, very pleasant. Taste is not as robust as expected, but I can’t fault this one at all.

Cask @ Fox and Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark mild ale with a frothy head. It has a very small sweetness to its character but not enough to give it any real flavours.
