10/10/2024. Cask at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear very dark brown with a small bubbly/frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, toffee, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, light to moderate roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, average carbonation. Good looking beer, but lacked some body.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 31st August 2024. Hazy golden amber with shallow, uneven off-white foam and full lacing. Yeasty, malty aroma with fruitiness. Leafy hoppiness and caramel malts in-mouth with an apple touch, and a finish of somewhat sour fruits and maltiness. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 24th August 2024. Brownish copper with yellowy white foam and full lacing. Malty aroma. Rich, nutty malts in-mouth and a finish of unsweetened Ovaltine and a citrus buildup. Medium bodied with an engaging texture.

Cask handpull at Cask Pub and Kitchen Pimlico. Clear amber colour. A pretty traditional bitter. Some nettle pepper hop finish. Some malty flavour. Decent enough. Bit earthy.
