Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky sweaty resinous hop, pine, lactose, creamy. Palate is semi sweet, sticky, moderate carbonation. Ok.

27/9/2024. Cask at St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours close to black with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, chocolate, herbal, root liquorice, caramel. Quite sweet with light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Drying tangy finish. Quite decent.

Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2024. A opaque dark black brown coloured pour with a halo of khaki head. Aroma is semi sweet, milky roast, lactose sugars, waxy, earthy grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded mellow earthy roast, toast, liquorice, green pepper, light tang in the finish. Some green berries, cherry. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, waxy, slick, moderate carbonation.

Gravity cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that clears edgewards. Nose is orange zest, grass, ripe tropical fruit esters, soft malts. Taste comprises grapefruit, tangerine, melon, papaya, airy malt base. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close splashed with balanced juicy hop bitterness.
