Greif-Bräu Weihnachtsfestbier, Flasche von Grabsch, Berlin-Lichterfelde. - Kupfergoldbraun, blank. - In der Nase schön toastig-nussiges Malz, Karamel, hintergründige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk angenehm toastmalzig, fein gerstig, mit milder Karamelsüße. Dezente, blaß orangenfruchtige Hopfenherbe. Durchschnittlich rezent, für ein Festbier recht schlank aber nicht dünn. Im Abgang etwas zu milde, orangenfruchtige und zart pfeffrige Hopfenherbe, die sich gegen die nachklingende Toastmalzsüße nicht durchsetzen kann. Leicht metallischer Nachtrunk. - Schön toastmalziges, nur mild gehopftes Bier. Etwas dünn aber solide.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, mild yeasty. Fine sweetish notes, not too intense. Fruity hints of banana. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Nice!

Thanks to the boys again for this one. Aroma is caramel, nuts, a whiff of dried dates, overripe banana, some grains, a little syrup. Taste is caramel forward malt sweetness with some lesser grassy hop tartness. Full body, kinda chewy, almost oily, still quaffable and light. A perfect example of a beer that is quaffable yet full bodied. Long sweet caramel finish. Good.

500ml bottle. Hazy, chestnut colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, off-white head. Wheaty, fruity, minimally toasty malty aroma, hints of banana, baked banana, apple, pear, spicy hints of clove and nutmeg, a minimally nuttily touch. Taste is slightly dry, wheaty, minimally toasty malty with a nuttily touch, hints of banana, apple and pear, subtle sweetness, minimally yeasty spicy overtones with a touch of clove. OK.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Husky, malty aroma, hints of protein. Taste is husky, malt-spicy, hints of protein, yeast dough, a cautious fruity touch of apricot, very subtle sweetness. Very drinkable - nice!.
