Goede Kant van het Spoor & Brouwerij Vogelvrij Railhawk Tarwewijn.
Bottle at home. Brown color, small white to off-white head. Aroma is yuk, very odd, cinnamon, vanilla, herbal and spices. Flavor has it too, very very herbal, spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, sweet hints of something red fruit coming through with candy sugar notes, figs, alcohol, bitter in the finish. A real winter ale I'd say. Not really my kind of beer tbh. Too many spices. 6-3,5-5,5-6-5

Bottle at home. Dark red to purple color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, sweet but a nice sweetness, definitely seems to have some barrel aging going on but quite subtle, brown candy sugar, lightly boozy. Overall very nicely balanced and quite tasty. Another nice one from GKvhS!

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een medium bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout, noten en gedroogd fruit. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, chocolade, caramel, rood fruit en walnoten.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met ten dun beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van kruiden. De smaak is vol fruitig, drop, zoethout en kruiden.

33cl Blik van Vinoci. Zwarte kleur, bruine kraag. Heerlijk gerookt, turf, volle bak Islay, gebrande mout, chocolade, caramel, rokerige finish. Volle body, romig. Heerlijk bier.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Strong brown malt aroma with notes of roast, liquorice, caramel. Moderate sweet, light bitter, above medium body. Robust malts, good.

Fles gedeeld met Keukeman en Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier. Het heeft een aroma van chocolade, kaneel en tonka bonen. De smaak is vol zoet, caramel, chocolade en tonka.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gist en kruiden. De smaak is droog, kruidig en hoppig.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is smokey with ash, peated whiskey, roasted malt, tar, coffee, hint of liquorice. Moderate bittersweet flavour, medium to full body with a little alcohol. Nicely done, burnt and smokey.
