Cask at From Beer To Eternity. Opaque ginger. No head. Aroma is sweet (fermented fruit) with a peripheral bitterness and almost tanines. Weird cider element to it. Flavourwise it's fruity with added candy sugar. Develops a monotone bitter streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Odd stuff. I thought this was the Altbier I also ordered but it is in fact an abortion of an Amber. And people want to protect cask?!

Keg at From Beer To Eternity, Havant. Opaque copper gold. Thin foamy white head. Aroma has soft sweet fruit with a citrus edge, and then bitterness makes itself known. Sweet fruit with a sugariness. Underlying bitterness then becomes more prominent. Herbal. Light resin. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Interesting and pretty punchy.

Hazy yellow gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a soft citrus hop aroma. Light and a touch grainy, tangerine and light biscuit malt with a hint of bitterness and a dry finish.

Cask at EBF Easter 26. Clear bronze. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has fruit with a floral and herb edge. Flavourwise it has a sourness with a herbal edge and and develops some sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough but a light thin ESB... a modern brewery's attempt at a trad beer.
