OG Ales
Microbrewery in Harvey, New Brunswick, Canada 🇨🇦
Tim and I both come from humble families and communities. Tim is a proud Newfoundlander, growing up in the small town of Botwood and is endless in his attempts to share good ol’ humour whenever he can. As for me, I grew up on the family dairy farm in Magaguadavic, New Brunswick. This scenic farm and land have been in my family for five generations – I guess you can say that I’m deeply rooted here.
Our love for living in the country is why Tim and I chose to raise a family in Magaguadavic. It allows us to step away from the hustle and bustle, recharge and appreciate being surrounded by nature. We may not be operating a dairy farm on the family homestead, but we do have a few animals running around, including our three happy beautiful, growing children.
When we heard that the owners of a small, local micro-brewery (Off Grid Ales) was for sale in Harvey, we saw the perfect fit for us, so we bought it and started chasing the OG dream!

Bottle from NB Liquor. Lightly hazed medium amber with a generous rocky off white head that lingers and leaves tons of lace. Nose is tropical fruit, citrus and light pine with grapefruit at the fore and a light caramel backing. Taste is light+ caramel with a medium- bitterness which is more grassy than the nose and some orange peel in the finish. Mouth is a slick and a touch thin with average carbonation and a gradually fading bitter finish. 7+/4/7/3/14
