A touch of alcohol is about the only thing that detracts here. Otherwise, is rich and fruity with bright, clear, deep bourbon and almost a port-like note. Grapey and with light vanilla and licorice. Strong but not sharp or hot. Malts show some fudge, raisin and gooey cake but no excessive sugar.
Rich, sumptuous malts have heft and chew but no syrup or excess sugar. Maple, vanilla, big bourbon and lots of raisin, grape and plum. Bright and boisterous stuff. It's rich and strong but doesn't feel so heavy on account of the bright fruit and playful bourbon.

16 oz can in a trade with Tfontana. Thank you! Black color, thin bubbly white head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, bourbon. Flavor of roasted barley, raisins, oaky bourbon with maybe a very light alcohol in the finish. however, no burn.

Taster pour from a can at crazy bash. Opaque dark brown, thin head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma strong peanut butter and chocolate. Taste strong, roasted peanut with mild chocolate, slight sweetness. Smooth, texture, med body, bitter roast finish.

16 oz can. Received a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom.Aroma is bold grapefruit, bready malt and tangerine. Flavor is juicy orange, and very mild grapefruit. The texture is smooth with a fullness to it. No bitterness but alcohol does show slightly. Overall, this is very good.

4 oz. pour at the brewery.Opaque black w/creamy ring of head, nice viscosity.Aroma is strong bourbon, caramel, raisin, prune.Taste is strong bourbon over caramel, earthy malt, dark fruit. Creamy texture, soft carbonation, slight alcohol heat/astringency.

4 oz. as part of flight at brewery. Cloudy, dark yellow, ring of head, light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus. Taste is strong candied citrus/homey. Smooth, silky texture, soft carbonation & fin as taste. Not complex but delicious.
