Pours cloudy dark gold into a stein. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Dough and caramel aromas. Dry with sweet caramel and bready malt upfront turning to mild, bitter earth in the lasting finish.

Can at home post World Series up late. Dark brown black pour small head. Nose is nice dark chocolate and soy sauce. Tastes quite umami soy and mushroom, dark chocolate, rootbeer, licorice, some herbs. Thinner bodied and some booze present. Slightly slick.

Moderately-to-fully hazy, though not soupy, bronze-golden-maize with a large, steadily falling, white head.
In the nose it's a bit malt and pine-forward, surprisingly. Some mineral, white wine and mango show promise, but it almost feels like there's specialty malt in here adding bready notes. As well, the resin isn't managed well and it's somewhat sharp on the finish. Yet again, the Barewolf cans fresh off the shelves are much older than you'd expect given the proximity of the brewery.
In the mouth it's soft, very malty with honey leading to light caramel and brown bread. Mango, pineapple and pine lead to moderate resin, alcohol and a bit of dirty hop character. Rather disappointing after the relatively strong showing of the first entry in this series. Don't like that they've upped this one to a DIPA. Hopefully they go back to a single IPA.

Bronze to brass, very hazy, bordering soupy. White head fades steadily to a ring.
Tangy in the nose with peach, papaya, lime and grapefruit, but not twangy, importantly (an almost sourness that vastly fatigues the palate is what I consider twangy, versus just normal hop acidity (orange and grapefruit-like bitterness/flavor) being considered tangy). Soft yellow fruits on the end with light cereal and a hint of honey and white bread dough.
Grapefruit and lime, albeit not very bitter, in the mouth with tons of yellow fruit juiciness. A bit of a floral/spicy/bitter edge to it, with warming and lots of crunchy biscuit which fights with the otherwise soft malt character. Low, engaging carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. Definitely can tell it's a hybrid, as it's torn between bitterness and juiciness, softness and grainier biscuit. It's pretty good, though, overall and well-done, without any obnoxious pine-like resin.

Publick House on tap: pours haze with a white head. Aroma is powerful tropical citrus plus mango and the like. Taste is tropical fruit. Some bitterness. Light spice. Solid IPA.

Pineapple-mango-nectarine is balanced and augmented by honey-vanilla-like maltiness. Juicy with no resin or sharpness. Light bubble gum from the yeast emerges strongly on the end. Feels heftier than it is from all this malt, juice and yeast, but still good and not muddled.
Juicy pineapple and key lime with ripe peach and nectarine yet no twang I could find, thankfully. Honey malt and chewy whitebread soften things considerably. Engaging carbonation and good dryness on the end with fruity, juicy mango for days. Good zap of bitterness helps restore some balance. Still somehow light and refreshing.
