Power Beer Fest draught, 5/14/22. Moderately-to-heavily hazy, bronze-golden with deep copper highlights. Small, white head shows moderate retention. Highly aromatic with tons of melon, papaya, mango and other various tropical fruits. Soft, almost wheat-like grains with dough, hints of honey and plentiful yeast esters. Little/no resin, no alcohol or flaw. Soft and malty, on the sweeter side, but not problematically so. Moderate bitterness and quite a bit of melon with a growing peach-like punchiness, especially after it warms. Some pine joins the fray. Still, quite solid all-around. Very impressed with this new brewery.

Draught at PBF, 5/14/22. Bright, copper-maize, moderately-to-heavily hazy, with a small, off-white head that shows moderately-low retention. Juicy nose is full of mango and sweet orange juice with a hint of bubble gum and perhaps some other heavy yeast ester. Bit of caramel? Almost oxidative like. But clean, otherwise and no resin. Hops add mostly citrus and sweet tropical fruits. In the mouth it's also rather sweet, not terribly so, though there's a caramel or toasted malt character that is bready and I don't love it. Otherwise, soft, malty, juicy, tons of heavy ester. Just fine, though no where near the elegance and execution (or dryness) of their pale ale.

Draught at PBF, 5/14/22. Turbid, pale-bronze-brass. Small, but pretty solid, white head. Lovely nose. Spicy, tropical, dank with hints of pine, orange and lemon. Sparse, but ample honey-and-dough-like malts with no weird yeast, alcohol or resin. Incredibly flavorful, wow! Packed with dank, juicy, tropical and earthy hop notes with a soft, malty texture and great attenuation. Great balance, no resin, no booze. Ok, Strong Side, you have my attention.

I guess Startline is acting as incubator for Strong Side until they start up. Last of my few beers with lunch. Cloudy and smells lovely. Nose is tropical and herbal. Tastes of fruit bowl cantaloupe and peach and papaya. Tastes similar. Some booziness.
