Undated can drunk 8/11/26.
Bready-to-doughy, fairly interesting malts with most of the dry hop gone at this point (just couldn't get around to this one in time). Clean enough with more bread and biscuit lingering.
Nice and bitter up front belying the malty nose. Deeper malts through the middle with more biscuit and doughy bread. For as much malt as there is in the texture, it's not too sweet. I'm also drinking this thing very warm. Assertive bitterness with peppery hop notes. Nothing crazy here, but just good, honest barley and classic hop treatment. Tons of flavor and texture for 4%.

Undated can from the brewery, drunk 7/18/26.
Some mildly fruity yeast mixing with fruity, green, woody, lightly juicy Amarillo. Citra softens/rounds it, but I don't get much Mosaic. Smells dry. Lots of cracker/biscuit. No big lush maltiness (no honey, rich white bread, that sort of thing). But clean, with no resin.
Is still quite malty in the mouth, though, unexpectedly (lots of rich white bread). Good bitterness, albeit quite low, with clean, flavorful malts and lots of Citra and Amarillo. Pretty straightforward; maybe a bit more dry hopping or hop intensity would take it up a notch, but it's still a perfectly well-made IPA that can compete with the upper tiers.

Brewery draught, 5/21/26.
Bright and clean, again, with strong Simcoe vibes. Lush greenery, woody and spicy with a bit of pine. White bread-like malts balancing easily. Low acidity, no alcohol.
Pineapple, pine and citrus rind with strong pepper and woody spice on the end. Bitterness is a bit too low, allowing the sweet, almost syrupy texture to bog down the palate. Seems to be a bit of medium malt in here, too, which doesn't help the situation. Sourdough, dried pineapple and black pepper linger, somewhat oddly.

Doesn't smell cheap and sugary. Much more fruit, with good acidity, than anything, and the lactose is very minimal. Big cherry-lingonberry, not too medicinal. Reasonably malty.
Soft, creamy but for the peppery carbonation and very tart, zesty fruit. Sweet, maybe a touch too much so, but maybe not. It does help balance the acidity. Not artificial tasting whatsoever. Good malt depth. Neither fish nor lactose overly thin out the body.

Good balance and homogenation in the nose. Nothing jumps at you or dominates. Fruity, soft, easygoing with no acrid roast or alcohol.
Nice and fruity with lush vanilla creating a sweet, soft, but slightly bitter character. Medium to medium-full body with low sweetness but ample depth. Coffee is fruity, earthy, low in acid and the beer exhibits low roast. Vanilla not overdone but nicely flavorful, soothing.
Just had Side Project's masterful vanilla latte Coffee Shop Vibes and this is right up there with it. Not as rich and intense but also 2.5% abv lower. Let's go, Lost Shoe!

Brewery draught, 5/21/26.
Bit juicy in a tropical fruit rind sort of way. Vegetal, woody spice a la Simcoe and maybe a touch of daintier potpourri from the Chinook. Pretty clean and bright all told. Typical white bread-like malt balancing gently. No medium malt or over boiled hop.
Gooseberry, spicy spruce and a fairly thick, substantial, malty texture. Pepper and slight resin lingering. Pretty good balance and keeps it real for a WC with strong pine and bitterness. Love the malty texture, but good attenuation. Wow, LS really upped their game!

Brewery draught, 5/21/26.
Very, very fruity with a zesty kumquat-meets-pineapple character. Typical white bread-like malts balance gently. Good brightness and overall levity but still nicely aromatic.
Wow, this is a lot better than their beers were last time I was here. Glad to see it. Nice and thick, almost syrupy texture but it works because of a high attenuation and bitterness. No twang, but lots of pineapple and other zesty, flavorful tropical fruits. Clean, tons of flavor for its size, balanced.
