Pours a nice clear gold from a can. Nice grassy and slight whole wheat aroma, similar flavor with a very light bitterness on the finish. Very good beer.

Canned 2/23/21, drunk 6/15/21. From the fridge at Julios. Lightly hazy straw gold. White head quickly to ring. Juicy tangerine, interesting dank/herbal notes and dry, crackery malts. No twang, aspirin, alcohol. Just good, juicy citrus. Very dry, leafy, woody, lightly juicy and with plentiful tangerine and lemon. Tight carbonation and great attenuation with no sign of bubble gum, alcohol, aspirin, resin. Wow, this is great!

Can (no date) pour from Fort Point Market. It's an opaque black (dark brown at the bottom of the glass) with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, grim copious floaties, finger-width fizzy light brown head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong roasted coffee with char elements bordering on ash tray, and chocolate. Taste is strong bitter burnt coffee grounds that really is ash tray and obliterates anything else. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and moderately bitter finish/aftertaste. Overall, if you like black/bitter coffee, then this is the beer for you. Not made poorly but for me, amount of roast goes over to the dark side and is basically unpleasant.
