Bottle. Light spicy easy nose. Cloudy yellow, lowish head. Tart citric yeasty base, medium light wheat malt base, dry spiciness, slightly necrotic, quick anonymous finish. needs a bit more oomph.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of straw, cereal and grass. Flavour is fresh and clean, with notes of grass, straw and a little cereal. Very refreshing stuff, just not overly flavourful. Certainly better than the average rating suggest in my opinion.

On tap at Tap & Barrel Coal Harbour, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malts and some dry caramel. Flavour is about the same, bringing out a good balance of dry bready malt and caramel. Nothing complex or overly enjoyable but certainly not as bad as the average rating suggests. Decent amber ale.

Dark brown color with creamy head. Not too dry, lean mouthfeel, with some caramel flavor and moderately strong spice mix; the aroma is a bit smelly (yeast, stale); the final is drier, a bit roasty.

Cloudy blond color, disappearing head. The aroma is fruity, tropical, lightly animal. Lean body; the pale malts were a good choice, they provide the right backbone and light sweetness without being heavy; strong bitterness, with enough fruity character, a lot of orange peel, citrus oil, and soft hop resins. Maybe a bit too much bitter orange in the final.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is subtle, with dry grains and light hops. Flavour is refreshing, with bright piney hops and dry crackery malt. Very well-balanced without any harshness. Fernie nailed this one.

Muddy amber-brown, aroma is phenolic like band-aid, tart and with light dark malt character. This really does not come together well.
