4 ounce draft at the brewery. Deep brown or black in color. Roman is mild coffee with a slight roasted malt background. Respectable coffee in the base roasted grains. Body is about right for the style. Maybe a tad thin. Still nice.

4 ounce draft at the brewery. The Roma is very soft green chili pepper. In the flavor of the pepper is forward but really no space at all. Very creative to get the pepper flavor without the spicy burn. Nice culinary brew!

For outstretched at the brewery. Almost clear golden color. Nice grassy hop in the Pilsner / pale ale hybrid It does show a nice hop punch in the finish. Crisp texture. Nice.

Taster pour on tap at Powder Keg Beer & Chili festival. Appearance is lightly hazy golden yellow with mild sparkle, thin ring of white head with fair retention. Aroma is smoked chilis. Taste is very mild chili flavor and mild spiciness. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, one dimensional and fairly weak but if you love chilis and you're looking for a sessionable beer, this could be the one for you.

Taster pour on tap at the Powder Keg Beer and Chili festival. Appearance is clear, bright yellow with thin cap of white head and decent retention. Aroma is chocolate/cocoa--not a lot of coffee. Taste is fruit and cocoa but can get the malty blonde roots. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, fairly thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty decent, especially for a blonde. Decent 3.6 or 7
