Bottle @ benzai. Black colour with a small to medium sized beige head. Smells wort, bostel, barnyard, dried corn, hay. Tastes lots of iron/rust. roasty, malts, hay. Way too much iron. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle @ home. Very hazy yellow to light orange color, small white head. Aroma has fruits, fruitpeel and some yeast. Taste also mainly has fruitpeel and yeast. Lightly herbs or spices in the background. The fruit and fruitpeel give a certain bitterness to the beer which is nice, but overall I don’t really like it. To me it’s also not a good exemple of a Belgian White.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, slightly yeast, slightly herbs or spices. Lightly bitter finish, average body and carbonation. Ok beer, but it doesn’t distinguish itself from tons of other Belgian Blond Ales.

Tasty schwarzbier, that has traits of a stout. Spicey and nicely roasted. Good one.
