Vibrant amber colour with a slight haze, medium head, soft body, light citrus hop, touch of pine? Mellow malts, just a touch of biscuit. Good.

Tap at Pongdang Itaewon. Opaque colour, small beige head. Burned toasted and perfumic aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Flavour has tobbacco, ash, toastyness. Very dry for milk stout and no cinnamon found.

Tap at Pongdang. A bit hazy yellow colour, small white head and lace. Some fruits, yeastyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Some fruits, yeast flavours, not much else going on. Bad.

Tap at Pong Dang Itaewon. Clear amber-golden colour, medium-sized white head. Aroma has lots of fruits .. apricot, lychee. Light-bodied. Pale malty, odd spiceyness ... like cinnamon and cucumber. Despite of them not totally hopeless.

Pongdang C Galaxy Pale Ale 4.6% 27 IBU pours a very dense looking milky honey color - in the lighting at the bar not so appetizing. Nice white pepper and tropical fruit hop bouquet though. Med-full bodied the taste is bitter hoppy funk with wheat cracker malt notes. Nice.

On tap at their pub in Noksapyeong. No tasters/samplers and I had many places to visit that night so I only had one beer from their 6 taps brewed at Weizenhaus. The Belgian Blond Ale is supposedly their first brew and one of there more popular beers. 5500won a pint is a good price. It poured a lovely clear gold and had a mildly fruity funky nose. It’s a solid Belgian blond with a dry semi-metallic finish with a crisp malt character. Nice.
