Taster at Colorado Plus. Pours a clear, ruby color, with a substantial, beige head. The nose is cherry, cream, vanilla, oak, and some light smoke. Sweet and syrupy, without any bitterness or balance. Light to medium body, with a smooth, slick palate. This is a fun beer. Solid and smooth.

Refrigerated 32 oz. crowler poured into a cup. Clear deep golden with small white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is yeasty and herbal hops.

Tulip at Crazy Mountain Lakewood - lightly hazy copper - nose of honey, confectioners sugar, white pepper, clove - flavor is sweet and eatery (banana, clove), like so many American versions - some peppery phenols and straw - finish is sweet, with a toasty graininess - eh, it's drinkable.
