On tap at Blue Heron. Deep red-brown-black. A really nice big coffee stout. Mellow carbonation, mild to minimal hopping. All out roast malt bomb, a little oily but not syrupy or overly viscous. Highly respectable, one of the best WI stouts for sure.

On tap at Blue Heron. A really excellently executed mild. Soft on the palate. Stained glass brown. Easy and straightforward, fruity ale tones and silky malt tones. Minimal delicate hop balance. Goes down easy as it should.

On tap at Blue Heron. Amber-tan, frothy head. Pronounced white grapefruit flavor. Really well done, smooth toasty malt body and a steady fresh bitter grapefruit balance. Excellent.

Tap at Blue Heron. Cloudy pink hued golden, attractive foamy lacy head. Really mellow and well done. Very light on the palate, soft sugary strawberry tones. Right on.

Draft at the OF. Filtered looking red-brown color. Amber malt tastes, sweet and sugary. Not so great, not really offensive either I suppose. Thin body, the rye doesnt help even this one out. A little boring and bland.
