Bière 50 cl bue dans une oenothèque à Monterosso. Robe ambrée foncée trouble. Nez malté, bouche très amère. Bière avec beaucoup de caractère pour ses 5.5%, très réussie. (M)

Cloudy golden, medium off-white head. Moderately hoppy, citrus and malts. Moderately bitter. Medium body, moderate carbonation, light bitter finish, drinkable. A classic hoppy ale. Nice.

Bottle from Enoteca Sciacchetrà , Vernazza. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of grass, lime, pine, cloudy lemonade and yeast. Flavour of orange, lemon and pine. Tastes a little more diluted that the powerful aroma suggests. Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Hoppy and delicious. I’m pretty sure there’s Citra in this - possibly Simcoe too. Reminds me of a typical Pale Ale by The Kernel.

Bottle from Enoteca Sciacchetrà , Vernazza. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of lemon, white sugar and steel. Flavour of earth, yeast, grass and blood orange. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. My least favourite beer so far from this promising brewery. It tastes a bit confused - like two parts English Pale Ale, one part Saison.
