Bottle from the The Bottle Shop by Global Beer Exchange, Makati City, Philippines. Pours golden/light amber with a big white head. Aroma of grassy hops, well balanced with malts, also grainy and slightly sweet. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Light/medium body, slight oily texture, lively carbonation. Nice and refreshing, with a decent level of lasting bitterness.

My thanks to Ceccile for bringing this one back from Philippines for me. Pours cloudy amber colour with a long lasting frothy off white head. Aroma is mildly herbal and medicinal, fruity, touch skunky too. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and a sour edge. Light/medium body, oily texture, quite fizzy mouthfeel. Slightly unusual but very drinkable.

Bottle from Global Beer Exchange, Makati City, Manila. Poured a very lively dark orange colour with a big off white head, lots of sediment settling to leave it cloudy. Aroma of hops, grain, yeast, banana and treacle. Light sweetness, initially very bitter, mellowing a little bit keeping a good dose of bitterness throughout. Very high carbonation level at start but settling to average after a few minutes. Thin body, texture is oily. Perhaps this bottle wasn’t at its best? Not a bad brew though.

Another beer brought to me from PH to UK by Richard. Pours a very pale gold colour with a lasting white head. Initially highly carbonated with plenty to sediment which settles to a slightly hazy hue. Aroma of sherbet, lemonade, sugar and honey. Taste medium sweet, very light in bitterness, has a sherbet mouth feel. Light body, slightly oily texture, carbonation settles to a subtle level after a couple of minutes. Quite decent overall.

Bottle bought in Manila and brought back to England by Richard. Pours an unattractive, very cloudy (muddy) looking mid brown colour with an off white head. Semi-sweet, aroma of hops, yeast, honey and dark fruit. Quite low in carbonation. Medium body. Aside from its looks, it is really rather nice.
