Cervecería Regional nace el 14 de mayo de 1929 en Maracaibo, estado Zulia, Venezuela. Se materializaba así el sueño en el cual venía trabajando, desde 1927, un grupo de jóvenes empresarios de la ciudad.
Sus primeros accionistas fueron 41, entre los que estaban Felipe Amado, Amílcar Morales, Martínez & Atencio y Emiro A. Pérez & Co. En esa época los estatutos de la empresa establecían que para ser accionista se requería ser propietario, en el estado Zulia, de establecimientos que comercializaran con cerveza, de manera que la distribución de los productos estaba garantizada.

0,22l green glass bottle at Nisches tasting, thanks for sharing. yellow clear color, small white head. smells earthy, malt sirup, tobacco, marzipan. not very good smell. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes cardboard, tobacco, marzipan, corn, grainy. finishes lightly bitter with notes of cardboard, corn sirup and tobacco notes. not good.

Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di bollicine medio-fini. La carbonazione è bassa. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è scarno. L'amaro è poco incisivo. La forza gustativa è appena percepibile e la durata è corta. Al palato arrivano indizi di cereali e carta.
