Description
Former name: "Münch-Bräu Eibau".

In 1810, the Eibau brewery was established by the Zittau brewing community.
The location of Eibau was confirmed by King Friedrich August I (1806-1827 King of Saxony) as the first rural brewery in the Zittau area. Since then, beer has been brewed here in the heart of the Upper Lausitz.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear yellow with a lacing white head. Sweet malty nose with a citrusy whiff. Medium body, sweet malt and a little sulphur. Dry and lightly hoppy finish. 141109

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry grassy and crisp hoppy. Sweet malty and light crisp hoppy flavoured. Dry and medium bitter finish.

Bottle from kappldav123, thanks! Blonde. Grassy aroma. Malty grassy soapy flavor with a hint of butter cookies. Grassy aftertaste with hints of citrus. Decent helles.

Dark nut brown color, small off-white head. Slighlty caramelly nose. Caramelly, very grassy flavor. Short finish. Standard dunkel.

Bottle from kappldav123, thanks! Blonde. Soft grassy aroma. malty, grassy flowery flavor. Mildly hopped. Soft grassy bitter finish. Decent pilsener with a short aftertaste.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very malty-roasty, intense notes of bacon. Also very spicy. Finish malty-dry, well balanced. Quite drinkable. Unusual, but good dunkel!

Bottle from Kappldav123, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Malt, chocolate and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with molasses, caramel, licorice and milk chocolate. A tasty, most pleasurable bock.

Bottle from Kappldav123, thanks! Blonde. Flowery soapy aroma. Thin but with a quite hoppy flavor. Grassy, flowery, just a hint of perfumed. Some soap in the aftertaste. Hint of citrus. Not bad.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest hoppy, quite wheaty. Soft finish, modest metallically. Could be more intense. Quite drinkable, but nothing really special!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Dark brown, nice creamy head. Starts malty-strong, not alcoholic. Maltiness a bit dry, also some woody notes. Finish could be a bit more intense. But still very drinkable and good bock!
