The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild, but not washy. Modest hoppy-dry, finish a bit sweeter, also a bit spicy. Good beer!

50cl bottle @ Germany. Pours dark brown with a small stable creamy head. Nose is sweet and syrupy. Rye-bread, sugar and a little bread. Medium bodied. Lacks the roast and dryness of a good dunkel. No caramel - just sugar and rye-bread. Not good.

Small white head. Deep red body. Hardly any aroma at all. Dry roasty rye raisins taste, very neutral. Mid-bodied. A bit watery. Dry neutral aftertaste. Well. No off-tastes, anyway. (0.5l bottle, Rewe, Dresden.)
