Description
In 1894 the Obergärige Brauerei Heinrich Reissdorf was founded by Heinrich Reissdorf in the Cologne Severins neighbourhood. In 1923 the brewery started to brew bottom-fermented beers and it became the Privat-Brauerie Heinrich Reissdorf. Through the years it stayed in the family.
In 1996, the Privat-Brauerie Heinrich Reissdorf acquired today's company premises in the industrial area of Cologne-Rodenkirchen. With the new production facility, a brewery was created, which is equipped with the latest brewery technology and meets the highest quality standards.

Bottle from the Offie, Leicester. Golden and clear with a small film of white head. Light smell, very bready with a dusting of lemon sugar. Sweet taste with honey and lemon and a yeasty dollop. Long sweet honeyed finish. Oily body, soft to medium carbonation. Not bad.
