Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Clear copper-orange color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, caramel, ripe fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Draft at the ABQ location. Brown with a thin head. Hardly any aroma, but this was served pretty cold. Hint of toast and dankness. Mildly bitter the whole way through. Lightish body, but still some chewiness. Watery finish. Drinkable.

Draft at the ABQ location. Pale gold with a light haze. Low aroma ipa—something like an Orange Julius. Taste is bittersweet, a mix of orange juice, candy and herbs. Lingering spice at the end. Medium-bodied, watery texture. Decent.

Black with a creamy, light brown head. Aroma a mix of chocolate, tar and tobacco. Taste is bitter with an industrial smoke edge. Full-bodied, rich, jarring, almost a meal. Sweeter at the end with a bit of fudge. Interesting.
