Clear orange pour, with a small white head. Pine resin hop forward, slightly toasty cereals. Nice mouth feel, good carb, a bit silky. medium bitter finish, more pine, hints of citrus zest, more towards the sweeter side of the citrus spectrum. A nice clean quaff.

On tap at the source. Very dark brown pour, not totally black, with a small off white head. Cocoa on the nose, soft vanilla, and some roasty malts. standard mouth feel and carb, with a very light bitterness, and semi sweetness. A touch watery, light, and flavourful stout, basic, but well made, and well done.

Can from the LCBO. Slightly cloudy amber pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is bland, light cereals, no hops, light apple esters. Mouth feel is fine, carb is good. Finish is semi sweet, light caramels, again, zero hops, with light fruity esters. Why do people keep making this style....its beyond boring.

Can from the lcbo. Dark copper pour, with a medium white head. Pine resins and brown sugar abound. Solid mouth feel and carb. Finish is medium bitter, lots of caramel malts, resinous hops, soft by present. A basic, old school amber leaning towards a brown.

Hazy yellow pour, with a small white head. Aroma is loads of malted wheat, nice corriander, and lemon aromas, with some light herbs. Mouth feel is good, carb is soft, but nice. Finish is semi sweet, more wheat, and herbs, light mint, and some good corriander to round it out.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, sweet chocolate malt with light chalky character, light mineral notes, OK. On tap at Ottawa winter brewfest 2018.
