(Draught at Brewery Ôlleklubi, 20120704) The beer poured deep golden and quite hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A harsh beer with excessive sweetness put on top of everything.

Hazy orange color, no head. Cereals, grainy, a bit sweetish aroma. Light to medium bodied. Grainy, sweet malty, unfermented sugars. Lively carbonation. Very typical "mass brewpub" beer. I am not impressed.
Earlier Rating: 1/28/2005 Total Score: 2.2
Bottled (04/2005)
Golden color, small creamy off-white head. Hoppy (Saaz?) nose, only slightly skunked. Some grassy hops in the flavor. malty finish. Not really hoppy enough to be a pilsener, but quite different to the most of other Latvian "gaisais" I have sampled.

2L Bottle - Gold/amber with a foamy head. Malty aroma with hints of corn, grass and honey. The taste is fairly refreshing with malt, grain, hops and slight sweetness combining nicely. Nothing special, but it’s refreshing and easy to drink.
