Draught at Alaus Stacija, Riga. Clear deep golden creamy head. Restrained hops in a sweet malt aroma. Faint notes of bubblegum and butter. Light bodied, mid dry with saltier bitter finish. Quite nice.

(Draught at Brewery Ôlleklubi, 20120704) The beer poured deep golden and quite hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A harsh beer with excessive sweetness put on top of everything.

Draught@Brewery Õlleklubi
Hazy orange color, no head. Cereals, grainy, a bit sweetish aroma. Light to medium bodied. Grainy, sweet malty, unfermented sugars. Lively carbonation. Very typical "mass brewpub" beer. I am not impressed.

Golden color, small creamy off-white head. Hoppy (Saaz?) nose, only slightly skunked. Some grassy hops in the flavor. malty finish. Not really hoppy enough to be a pilsener, but quite different to the most of other Latvian "gaisais" I have sampled.

500ml Bottle (filled from a keg in a Miestins store in Riga) - Amber with a slight haze. Lemon, soap and bleach in the aroma, plus some hints of banana. Yeasty and fruity taste with notes of banana, lemon and peach.

2L Bottle - Gold/amber with a foamy head. Malty aroma with hints of corn, grass and honey. The taste is fairly refreshing with malt, grain, hops and slight sweetness combining nicely. Nothing special, but it’s refreshing and easy to drink.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Skunky malts and hops in aroma. Malts and hops with unclean notes and white bread. Slight alcoholic notes also. Strictly for rating only, and once is enough.

Bottled. Hazy pale orange colour, creamy white head. Sweet fruity aroma with a sting of alcohol. Barnyardish flavour with weak malty and hoppy notes. Papery finish. Unbalanced and quite crappy flavour. ACIDIC. Aroma the only positive thing in this one.

Dark honey yellow, decent off-white head. Light aroma of rye bread and skunked hops. Malty with unpleasant flavor of hay and wood.
