16 oz. Shared by by tfontana. Thanks Tom. Flavor hints of toffee, vanilla, honey, and Earth. Somme roasted nuts appear in the moderately bitter aftertaste. Pretty much a nice example of the style.

Can pour from the brewery. It's a hazy dark brown (like maple syrup) with no sparkle, thin cap of khaki head quickly fading to a ring with no lacing. Aroma is earthy malts, toffee. Taste is mix of tart fruit, earthy malts and brown bread. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation, and finish as taste. Overall, a good representative of the style.

16 oz. can shared by tfontana. Thanks Tom! Another new to me CT brewery! Aroma is candied tangerine, oranges, soft herb. Flavor is a match. Candied citrus on top of soft pine or herb. It has balance, not bad but would never say it is juicy.

Can pour from the brewery. It's a lightly hazy gold with decent sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with poor retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, pineapple rind, tangerine. Taste follows aroma with some pine. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor with decent complexity, though there's not haze. I liked it.
