(Thanks, Jared! MetalNHopHead) A- Maple. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Candle wax, maple, pie spice, nutmeg, slightly sour. P- Medium body, slightly thin texture, high carbonation, slightly astringent finish. O- With the name I thought this would have some rye bread or something in it, idk. More of a french toast brew that didn't work. The aroma was nice, pure maple and fresh. The taste didn't meet that aroma and really was all over the place and not a pleasant finish. Lots of hope but a major letdown.

Sampled from the tap at El Bait Shop. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and sweet tropical fruits with melon and grass notes supporting. Flavor has sweet tropical fruits and sweet grains with a touch of citrus rind.

4 oz. draft at Iowa TapRoom, Des Moines, IA. Pours hazy gold color. Aroma is malty, banana, citrus, clove and mild pepper. Flavor is filled with biscuit, banana and clove, malty bread backbone. Full body, but still very refreshing. Nice representation of the style.
