Solid winter warmer, offering up notes of cocoa, caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, and toasted pumpernickel, with a cola-ish vibe on the back end and a gentle oak bitterness in the fade. The spicing is appreciably subtle, and the alcohol warmth is kept to a minimum. Good pint.

On tap pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is spice belg yeast notes and some grain. Taste is more of the nice spice notes grain yeast and some sweetness.

I like that the adjuncts are subtle; no in-your-face guava assertiveness or lime citrus overload. The golden ale itself is unexpectedly mild for 9%, on the dry side for the style, with notes of wheat and vanilla and clove, backed up by a modest floral honey undertone and followed by thyme in the fade. A bit simple, but not bad.

Unique among Mexican hot chocolate stouts, in that the pint focuses on the vegetal habanero flavor, but leaves out the heat. Not great, but memorable.

Something is seriously wrong with this beer. Pours a grey-ish dark brown, with a cream, almost nitrogenated head. Smells like a typical West Coast IPA, but the taste is very, very off, with loads of caramel-like sweetness, vegetal undertones, fresh wort, and pine. Finishes with a barleywine-like bittersweet fade. Canned disaster.

Sweet and crusty, with a husky caramel and wet malt front laced with cardboard, wort, and a weird vegetal undertone. Finishes a tad bitter with a little yeast. Muddled.

Nice peach sour, offering up the expected wave of tart citrus and berry notes, but with a hefty sweet peach backbone meshing nicely with all the sourness. Doesn’t break the mold or anything, but still a nice beer.

Yup. It's a sour. Tart veins of citric acid, almost-ripe berry, and a little husky grain, with the mildest hint of coconut on the back end. Exactly what you expect from the style.
