The DIOLLER Brewery was founded in 2014 by Christian FASSLER after discovering distinctive beers during a trip to Belgium: "The passion took hold of me and never left." This is how the adventure of this craft brewery in Alsace began.

Bottle from Auchan Illkirch-Graffenstaden. A gusher, loads of foam all over the place. Cloudy yellow in the glass, very very lovely carbonation, shy malty base but the only other flavour I can detect is sour. Something wrong with this bottle, probably.

04.07.2022 - 0.33l bottle from auchan in illkirch, bb 11.2022, 5.8% abv. pours a hazy golden with a huge dense head, a gusher. aroma of dried fruits, hay, oranges and orange flowers. flavour of citrus, wood, slight peach. rather dry for the style. alcohol is well hidden. did I say the head is still there after 1 hour? dense, almost nitrous

19.02.2021: 0.33l bottle from leclerc in st louis. pours a hazy deep amber with a dense steady off-white head. aroma of sprucy hops, flowers, grapefruit, wood. flavour of woody hops, caramel. not very sweet for an ipa. correct ipa, not sure why is it called "dark" here, neither the bottle label nor contents suggest so.

From the bottle. Dark brown with a thin, creamy head that fades. Aroma of vinegar and coffee. Taste is tart with green apples, mildly bitter, sweet chocolate undertones. Thin body, soft carbonation. In the words of the wife: once you get over the disappointment that this is not a porter, it’s not bad.

Pours brown from the bottle. A creamy head fades but lingers. An odd, webbed sediment floats at the bottom. Perhaps I should not have poured the whole bottle. Not much of an aroma. A mix of toffee, cherry, and dark bread. Taste is sweet with light fruity undertones. Body is light to medium, carbonation is moderate. An odd one but still okay.
