Bottle. The bottle had a 2-inch layer of yeast at the bottom. Hazy amber beer with a cream colored head. Mineral and light spice aroma with a bit of dirt. Strange ginger spice flavor with malt and some pineapple. Medium body. Pineapple lingers with mineral notes, grain, and ginger.

Bottle. Amber beer with an off-white head. Light malt aroma with light earth amd light mineral. Malt flavor with resiny bitterness and grass and ending in a bit of a metallic note. Medium body. Resin lingers with metallic, grass, and plastic notes.

Draft@Redlight. Light dusty nose, almsot no aroma whatsoever. Weird red-purple color with a pink head. Bland ricey lager flavor. Off finish. Light and fizzy. Is this a pale lager with food coloring? Shite.

Dark red/cherry colour with a pink head. It looks like a kriek...not sure where that colour comes from. Some caramel and wood aromas. It’s sweet, thick on the palate, with caramel, toast and a modest earthy hoppiness and a slightly dry alcoholic finish. An odd duck, but similar in structure to the Sword Swallower.

22oz bottle - Pours hazy light yellow with a big white head. It smells of spice and a touch of citrus. The flavor is heavily spiced with maybe nutmeg and clove among other spices. There’s also some orange zest in there. The light malt flavors are kind of buried under all that spice. The palate is light and bubbly. it’s certainly different and isn’t bad though I wish the beer under all that spice was more assertive.

I guess the "freak" came out of the bottle with the first pour. I really wasn’t expecting to see this color to come out. Pours light blood/reddish, almost like grenadine. Pink head. Probably with the Halloween spirit in mind. Aroma, is of light hops with somehting of a cough sirup. Taste, hoppy and malty close to a soda or candy licorice. Not a bad brew, I appreciate their idea of the Freakbeer spirit for Halloween.

Courtesy of Sea-Bastian. Pours an un-expected clear cherry red with hues of garnet and topped off by a red to pink foam head. The aroma is sweet sugary red cotton candy, sweet malts and faint caramelization. The taste is thick and sweet with malts, some vague noble hoppiness and more sweetness from sugary sweet malts. I do get some roastiness in there too keeping it somewhat interesting. It ends dry with lingering tingle of hoppiness. Overall a little too sweet for my tastes. Could use just a little more of that mild roastiness for added balance.

Draft at Redlight. Bright crystal clear gold color. Foamy head. Herbal hoppy nose. Floral and spicy hop flavors, Malts are thickish with a strong sugar cookie presence. Full bitterness in the finish.

bottle - This beer pours reddish-orange with a one finger pink head. Seriously. It’s pink. It smells malty with maybe some mild fruity hops in there. The flavor is mostly sweet caramel with just a touch of fruit and a somewhat odd grainy flavor. There’s a little hops and a medium body. It’s okay, but not worth seeking out unless you just really like the bottle.

22 oz bottle. I don’t care if the beer has an artificial color to it. For a Halloween beer - it suits the mood perfectly. Closing your eyes, this beer is practically no different than any other lager-type micro-beverage out there. Not bad in the least, but not horrid and certainly the flavor did not seem to be affected by the coloring.
