About
United Dutch Breweries in Breda was created when the Belgian Interbrew closed the Breda Oranjeboom brewery in 2004, which it had taken over in 1995. Oranjeboom's export department carried out a management buy-out and continued independently with Oranjeboom's brand portfolio, which was acquired from Interbrew. The beers are not brewed anymore in Breda but elsewhere.

Bottle corked and caged 75 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Rich, malty body, subtle roastiness and dark, dried fruits. Subdued balancing hops. Alright. 241220

Bottle corked & caged 75 cl. Pours a deep brown with a burgundy hue and a beige head. Medium body, subtle roast, dark rock sugar and some dark, dried fruit. Maybe a hint of cork, but nothing too serious. BB 17.12.19 241220

Bottle 75 cl. Slightly hazy deep Golden with a creamy, off-white head. Sweet, fruity nose with some Belgian yeast esters. Sweet - as in VERY sweet - fruitiness, a hint of banana and again subtle Belgian yeast. No bitterness at all. Borderline cloying. 231220

Rating overgezet. Blik thuis geprobeerd met Patrick. Het is een goudgeel bier met een wit schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat zoete geur. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet en honing achtig.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and hrabren. Pale golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, corn and caramel in the nose. Dusty corn and caramel taste with sugary finish. Alcohol present but not much.
