(Draught at U Medvidku, Prague, 27 July 2012) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, wild berries, brown sugar, figs and raisins. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, dark fruit, brown sugar, chocolate and sweet hints of cherries. Fairly low bitterness. Alcohol is evident, but quite well balanced. Full body, with thick syrupy mouthfeel. Quite sweet. Nice one.

27/02 A 0.33 l bottle from the brewpub. It poured hazy brown body with medium sized head. Sourish aroma, fruity malty, especially plums, apples and oranges. Fruity flavor, sourish more than sweet, quite well balanced. Full in body with nice long, sweetish and only slightly tart finish. Alcohol is present of course but not too much. It’s a nice brew, which might easily be infected but it only benefited from it generally. Strictly as a bock it would fail of course.
